About

Clearsound

Clearsound Productions Ltd was founded in 2007 as a company specialising in providing technical production services to the live events industry. Primarily focussed on corporate events such as award shows and conferences, with the occasional festival and concert thrown in the mix, Clearsound strives to provide the highest quality of services to all their clients, both big and small.

Now armed with a team of seven full-time members of staff and a plethora of freelancers, Clearsound always delivers on the needs of their clients. From lighting, sound, and video, to staging, rigging, and set production, Clearsound supplies a full service to take an idea and make it a reality.

With the unfortunate pandemic currently happening around the world Clearsound’s work, like many others, ground to a halt. An otherwise busy company became dormant overnight. With the staff base now furloughed Clearsound has been working hard to keep itself alive, from offering Man and Van services to PAT testing it’s been a trying time - and it’s not getting better any time soon!

Aside from the work that Clearsound has been doing to survive they have also been using their assets and contacts to try and make a positive difference around the UK during this hard time. In April Clearsound created and organised an event called ‘Our Shining Light’ with the assistance from friends at fellow production company, Genius Bros. Our Shining Light was an initiative for production companies around the UK to shine beams of light into the sky as a Thank-You to the UK’s frontline staff, and as a way of bringing some light to an otherwise dark time. During the final Our Shining Light event over 50 companies from all over the UK joined Clearsound in lighting up the skies - something that gained media attention and an overwhelming positive reaction from the public and frontline workers.

Shortly after this event Clearsound joined the ‘IND2020LIGHTTHESKY’ movement created by another fellow production company - Lights, Control, Rigging (LCR). Again shining a beam of light into the sky for International Nurses Day and the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.

More recently, Clearsound joined the ‘Night Of Light 2020’ initiative created by members of the events industry in Germany. Night Of Light saw over 9,000 building being lit red across Germany, along with a few participants from other areas around Europe and the US. Night Of Light then inspired Clearsound to create ‘Light It In Red’, the current movement to signal help from the UK government to the events industry.
